JHZL Aquatics

Hello, my name is James and aquatics are my passion, I have kept freshwater and marine aquariums for 30 years and worked in the aquatic industry for almost 20 years. I have worked in and managed a few pet and aquatic shops, worked for pond and aquarium maintenance companies and now I have decided to set up my own aquarium maintenance business, JHZL Aquatics, so that I can continue to share my knowledge and skills.

I have always had a love for aquatics from a young age keeping fish and corals, which lead me to attend Sparsholt college studying Ornamental Fish Management for 3 years and then turning my hobby and passion into my profession working and managing in the pet and aquatic retail industry.

​

My interest is in any side of aquatics such as freshwater aquariums, creating beautiful aquascapes, ponds and angling but my biggest passion is marine aquariums having kept many tanks myself. I am so enthusiastic about aquatics that when I am not at work, I am always looking up new equipment or new techniques to try out for aquariums, and I regularly enjoy coral fragging to keep my corals growing successfully and sell them locally too.

JHZL Aquatics is based in Fleet and provide services to all the local and surrounding areas in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.

I offer water changing and water testing, water treatments, filter cleaning and gravel cleaning, aquascaping, set up and installations of aquariums, holiday feeding, routine and specific maintenance plans and advice.
